Beading and Tyvek Come Together

So what is Tyvek? Well, Tyvek is a brand of synthetic flashspun high-density polyethylene fibers. It’s used for Homewraps and medical packaging applications and has a fabric-like finish used for protective apparel and consumer applications. We however are using it along with alcohol inks, paints and a simple beadweaing stitch to cover containers, make magnetic broaches and create one of a kind pieces that are stunning and multi functional.

Level: Beginner and All levels

Cost: $35.00

Kit cost: $15.00 (paid directly to the instructor at the start of class) – includes container, 2 magnets, Tyvek and use of a large selection of alcohol inks and paints.

Does not include: seed beads, accent beads, crystals and other items you want to use to embellish you piece

Time: 11:00 am to 2:00 pm – 3 hours
