Beginner Crochet & Felting Bag Classes
Ellen for a creative two-part, beginner-friendly workshop where you’ll learn how to make your own small unique bag!
Part 1: Crochet Techniques (2 hours, one session)
Time: 11:00 am to 1:00 pm
Level: Beginner All are Welcome
Class Fee: $35.00
**$5.00 material fee for basic yarn – paid directly to the instructor**
**$10.00 material fee for wool yarn if you want to felt your piece – paid directly to the instructor**
In this session, you’ll learn beginner crochet stitches and techniques while creating a small bag. You’ll also discover how to accent your piece with seed beads and focal beads, giving your bag its own personal style.
Part 2: Felting Techniques (2 hours, one session – the following week)
Time: 11:00 am to 1:00 pm
Level: Beginner All are Welcome
Class Fee: $35.00
In this follow-up class, we’ll explore a simple felting technique to transform your bead crochet pouch or amulet bag into a soft, textured piece. You can bring the bag you made in Part 1 or if you have an an already crocheted small piece you can bring to felt.
Flexible Enrollment:
Take just Part 1 if you’d like to focus on beginner crochet.
Take just Part 2 if felting is your main interest.
Or take both for the full experience of learning crochet and felting techniques!
